HotChaCha is back from tour!  Their new disc  The Worlds Hardest Working Telescope and the Violent Birth of Stars  is on the way back from mastering right now,  tons more on the way from HotCha.

Mystery of Two is playing with Man Man @ the Rock Hall July 8th,   outdoors if the weather permits!   The test press landed today,  M2 is gearing up for a July tour,  more on that soon.

Hot Cha Cha is filming a video Saturday May 23rd @ Now That's Class. Shooting starts at 2 pm  followed by a live show at 5pm.   Swing out early and get down for the girls new video.

Home and Garden is playing with Richard Lloyd and Billy Ficca of Television @ Now That's Class on May 13th,  Tony Maimone will be in Cleveland on the Home and Garden for that one,  so it's a classic line up all around.

The Like Bells LP is back from Press!  There's a few super limited white 12"s so be on the look out for those on our store, or you'll be able to grab one from the band on their up coming tour.

Like Bells just finished a new video.  It's a live performance of Yeti in Fairchild Chapel at Oberlin. The Bells are gearing up for a summer tour and release of their first self titled disc.  We're going to have 100 super limited white 12" LP available in a few weeks,  so be on the look out.  For now check it out on Cd.

Sunday Feb 29  Home and Garden (on first)  is playing with
Martin Bisi  (producer/performer Swans, Sonic Youth, Material, Africa Bambaata, John Zorn...)

Now That's Class is at 11213 Detroit Ave in Cleveland.

Blake's Burn Tape show was a great night,  thanks too everyone that came out, performed, and the Beachland for hosting.  We'll have some video and audio from the night  up shortly.   Burn Tape  comes out nationally on April 21st,  so be on the look out for more Blake soon.

Blake's new record Burn Tape is back and getting ramped up for a promo push.    For those around Cleveland Blake will be in town next week and we're having a release party at the Beachland Tavern with Tom and Leia (Afternoon Naps),  Brian Straw, and Nick Tolar (Expecting Rain).  The show is Saturday Feb. 21 at 9 pm, it's $5 or if you have tickets to see Brett Dennen in the Ballroom that night it's free! Hope to see you there. 

The year is off to a running start! The Dreadful Yawns are heading out for a winter wonderland tour,  we all know it's a way to head south for at least a break in what's been a cold snowy month.  Check out all the dates below and try to get to the shows if you can!

Like Bells have finished their LP!   Garrett has been hard at work with the rest of the group at Ante Up here in Cleveland and finished  late last night.  The record is at mastering right now,  more from Like Bells soon.

Spanish Prisoners are playing with the legendary Suicide tonight at Europa in Brooklyn.   SP is performing in between one of Suicide's sets downstairs.  The Downstairs is free,  Admission to Suicide is $22,  Starts at 8 pm. 

Exit Stencil is excited to announce the signing of  Like Bells from Oberlin !     Like Bells are in the studio right now and are prepping for a spring release and summer tour with their new full length.    Get ready to swim around in some atmosphere.    The Bells have an Oberlin gig scheduled on Dec 5th @ the Sco,  a Cleveland date will be forthcoming.

Hot Cha Cha is playing 9pm Friday night in NYC @  The Annex 152 Orchard Street on the Lower East Side.  If you're in the area go have fun with them, you deserve it.

Mystery of Two is in the studio working on their next record  Live. Love. Listen. Repeat.  Hot Cha Cha is about to be working on their next one and Blake Miller's  Burn Tape is in the final stages of mastering!  It's going to be a busy Spring,  but not till we all get buried in winter.

We all made it back from CMJ,  it was a great night.  Thank you to all the people that came out,  Spike Hill, and the CMJ fest for having us . . . as my grandfather says about working, it's  back to the salt mines in Cleveland. 

The Cleveland Scene named the new ESR Studio the Best in Cleveland.   Thank you!          Mystery is pounding out their next record  in there right now and Hot Cha Cha is just about to get started.

Hot Cha Cha played the Midpoint Music Fest in Cincinnati this weekend . . .  here's the word on that.  "Man, I fell in love with that Hot Cha Cha guitarist. Beautiful and could really play the rock. The whole band was great. The singer was jumping on the tables and swinging from the rafters, really. I don't think the bar owner was too happy about that, but... they need to come back! Thanks to Courtyard Cafe for being a great venue for us. "


 

Mystery of Two made it back from tour!   We're about to roll out the ESR blog so check out some photos and stories on that shortly.  Mystery is headed into the ESR Studio Sunday to start work on their next LP . . . !
